Print Manager – Wide Web Flexographic Printing Morris Packaging, LLC – Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. About this position Morris Packaging is a manufacturer of sustainable, flexible packaging products such as bags, pouches, and rollstock. We provide end‑to‑end packaging solutions, including design, printing, warehousing, and logistics support. Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Print Manager to lead our wide web flexographic printing operations. This role demands a leader who is deeply committed to process control, standardization, and continuous improvement, with technical expertise in flexographic printing and lamination processes. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols; implement standardized procedures; collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Process Control & Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain process control systems; use data analytics to identify trends and root causes; lead Lean, Six Sigma, or similar initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control measures; conduct audits and inspections; develop corrective and preventive actions; mentor and develop the press team. Team Development & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of press operators; provide constructive feedback and training; foster a positive work environment. Technical Expertise: Serve as subject matter expert in flexographic printing and lamination; stay current with industry advancements; evaluate equipment upgrades. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered). Minimum 7 years of flexographic printing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proven track record of implementing process control systems and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with wide web flexographic presses, solvent‑ and water‑based inks, and substrates such as BOPP, PE, PET. Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, data analysis, manufacturing software (ERP), communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies. Familiarity with ISO, SQF, or other quality management systems. Experience with automated printing and lamination equipment. Schedule 8‑hour shift Monday‑Friday. Overtime as needed. Pay Range 125 – 140 USD per year (Minnesota).
