Job Summary Position: Specialist, Marketing and Digital Web – College of Science, University of Nevada, Reno. This role partners with the Office of Marketing and Communications and reports directly to the Director of External Relations and Events. Responsibilities Create and manage marketing and communications content, including web copy, promotional materials, advertisements, and video scripts. Develop and execute online web strategies, incorporating search engine optimization (SEO) and content management systems. Plan and maintain editorial calendars, ensuring timely delivery of all content. Ensure web accessibility compliance and quality of web content. Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually engaging materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related work experience, OR Master’s degree and one (1) year of related work experience. Proficiency in CMS, HTML, SEO, content planning, and editorial calendars. Experience in web content writing and editing. Graphic design skills. Occasional travel may be required.
