Security Service Technician 2 Technician

We're looking for an experienced security technician with a strong background in access control service, programming, troubleshooting, and repair. This is a service-focused position supporting existing customers, responding to service calls, performing preventative maintenance, and handling small security projects.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer service, maintenance, and emergency calls
• Troubleshoot and repair security systems and equipment
• Program, test, and service access control systems
• Diagnose system issues and determine the appropriate repair or solution
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Support small security installation projects as needed
• Complete system checkout, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Provide clear and professional communication with customers
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation
• Follow all safety and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Access Control: AMAG, Lenel, Genetec, Software House/CCURE, S2
• CCTV: Milestone, Genetec
• Intrusion/Alarm: DMP, Bosch
