Position Overview

Allure Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist. As a vital member of our team, you will provide critical mental health services in a supportive remote environment. Your role will focus on helping clients navigate their challenges through culturally sensitive and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, but as part of our community health clinic, you will engage frequently with colleagues and clients through video conferencing and teletherapy sessions. You will have a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the scheduling needs of patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to craft tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions suitable for the individual needs of clients, ensuring inclusivity and responsiveness to cultural backgrounds.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that focus on crisis resolution, coping strategies, and overall mental wellness.
• Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care plans for complex cases.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention when needed, ensuring safety and support for clients during mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders and available treatment options, empowering them through knowledge.
• Maintain precise and confidential records of client interactions and interventions, following all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case conferences and cultural competency training to continually enhance our services.
• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and methodologies in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Allure Counseling Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Our focus on cultural competence allows therapists to engage meaningfully with clients, ensuring a supportive environment for healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid professional license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or psychologist in Texas.
• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy with a strong emphasis on cultural responsiveness and inclusivity.
• Proven skills in crisis intervention, with a composed demeanor in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong therapeutic relations with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
• Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining healthy boundaries.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a community health or outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally specific treatment modalities.
• Experience in leading workshops or group sessions focused on mental health education.

Compensation and Benefits
