Job Details Nurse Manager - Heart & Vascular Interventional Services department (HVIS) Full-Time | Day Shift Position Newark, DE ChristianaCare Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager for our Heart & Vascular Interventional Services department (HVIS). The Nurse Manager will oversee the Cardiac Cath Lab, Neuro-Interventional Lab, Vascular Interventional Radiology and the Electrophysiology Lab. In this role, the Nurse Manager will: Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to adult and geriatric patients, including the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs. Assure compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Identify priorities of management responsibilities and demonstrates the ability to delegate. Develop and maintain method to ensure patient satisfaction on assigned unit. Perform routine patient rounds to establish visibility, teamwork, and monitoring the level of care/practice. Remain cognizant of risk management issues and takes appropriate measures to correct. Support and communicate Department of Nursing and unit-based PI initiatives. Lead nursing practice and care delivery in designated unit. Promote the autonomy of the nursing staff, encouraging independent decision making and problem solving. Support and maintain shared decision-making on unit. Experience & Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Completed Master's degree is nursing or alternatively, completed BSN with a Master’s degree in healthcare or business management field required. Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required. Nurse Executive certification preferred Five years of appropriate leadership experience required Current RN licensure accepted in the state of Delaware required. Annual Compensation Range $121,180.80 - $193,897.60 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
