Florida Title & Trust LLC, a well-established and growing Florida title insurance company, is seeking an experienced Title Processor / Closer to join our Miami team.

This position is ideal for an experienced title professional who can confidently manage files through the closing process, communicate effectively with buyers, sellers, Realtors, lenders and attorneys, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

We are experiencing continued growth and are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term member of our team and grow within the company.

Compensation: $60,000–$75,000+ annually, based on title experience, licensing and ability to independently manage files. Higher compensation may be available for an experienced Florida Licensed Title Agent.

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments and clear title requirements and defects
• Review title searches, lien searches, surveys and estoppel letters
• Coordinate and obtain payoffs, lien releases, estoppels and other closing requirements
• Prepare and balance settlement statements, Closing Disclosures and ALTA Settlement Statements
• Prepare lender preliminary Closing Disclosures and coordinate figures with lenders
• Prepare closing packages and related title and closing documents
• Conduct real estate closings
• Communicate outstanding requirements and closing updates with buyers, sellers, Realtors, lenders and attorneys
• Identify discrepancies or potential issues and promptly communicate them to management
• Coordinate funding and closing requirements
• Issue title insurance policies and complete post-closing title requirements
• Maintain organized files and ensure deadlines and closing requirements are satisfied

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Florida title insurance or real estate closing experience required
• Florida Notary Public commission required
• Florida Title Insurance Agent license strongly preferred and eligible for higher compensation
• Experience independently processing and closing residential real estate transactions
• Strong understanding of title commitments, lien searches, surveys, estoppels, payoffs and title curative matters
• Experience preparing and balancing Closing Disclosures and settlement statements
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple active files and closing deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound independent judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional customer-service skills when communicating with consumers, Realtors, lenders and attorneys
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred
