Their duties include greeting customers when they enter the store, helping customers find specific products or showing them how to use them and ringing up customer purchases on the POS register.Job FunctionsUse the E.C.E.T. (Every Customer, Every Time) process with EVERY customer interactionGreet every customer you make eye contact with, anywhere in the storeAnswer customers' questions and provide information on procedures and policiesBe at your workstation on timeBe "customer ready" whenever you are on the stage/sales floorMaintain awareness of all promotions and advertisementsRecommend related items when appropriate and execute S.A.L.E.S. processKeep your area of responsibility neat, clean, stocked and priced properlyExecute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store managementAssist in the training and development of peersActively participate in daily huddle meetingsUphold merchandising and store cleanliness standardsOffer a carry-out if appropriateKnow the proper way to answer the telephoneBe alert for possible merchandise losses.
