Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute rehab unit focused on chemical dependency
- Assess patient status, develop and implement care plans, monitor vital signs, and administer medications per orders
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, case management) to support rehabilitation goals
- Monitor for withdrawal symptoms, ensure patient safety, respond to emergencies, and document in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge planning, and follow‑up needs
- Ensure compliance with NYS nurse licensing requirements, facility policies, and safety standards

Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in inpatient acute rehab or chemical dependency unit
- Travel experience required; renewals preferred
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts; start date 07/06/2026
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required credentials and onboarding requirements
