Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in the ICU, including admission assessment, care planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory data, and hemodynamic status; manage equipment such as ventilators and critical care monitors.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; observe for and report adverse effects promptly.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case management) to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety, adherence to infection control practices, and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
- May float to medical-surgical units as needed to support patient care coverage.

Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- ICU nursing experience: minimum 2 years
- Travel experience required; renewals preferred
- Ability to float to medical-surgical (MS) units as needed
- Availability to work the 3x12 night shift
