Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents during the night shift, including assessments, monitoring, and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and respond to changes in condition.
- Perform routine nursing duties such as turning and positioning, wound care, catheter care, and safety surveillance to prevent falls and infections.
- Document accurately in charts and electronic health records; participate in shift handoffs and interdisciplinary communication.
- Respond promptly to call bells, emergencies, and changes in resident status; escalate to the charge nurse as needed.
- Educate residents and family members as appropriate and support care planning and discharge planning activities.

Requirements
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of SNF experience
- Ability to work night shifts (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a skilled nursing setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Eligible to work in the United States; ability to meet shift and setting requirements
