Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) positions available in Amsterdam, New York for a travel temporary assignment at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Start date: 06/22/2026, duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,771–$1,865. Shift: 3x12 Nights (1900–0730). This assignment does not guarantee hours and offers a travel-only schedule with potential local traveler options within 50 miles at a reduced rate. All roles are with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to ER patients per standard protocols
- Assess patient conditions, triage acuity, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies promptly
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform procedures as trained and permitted
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other disciplines; document care plans in the charting system
- Support patient safety, infection control, pain management, and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, and post-visit instructions

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years travel nursing experience (renewals preferred)
- Availability to work 3x12 night shifts (1900–0730) and adapt to high-acuity environments
