Is Hiring Immediately Part-Time Lobby Officer $17.50 Per Hour | Part Time | Deerfield Beach, FL Thursday: Lobby 500, 1:00pm-7:00pm and Friday: Lobby 201, 7:00am-5:00pm Marksman Security is built on serving our clients and building careers - just like yours. What We're Looking For We hire for our core values – and we mean it: Service - You understand that exceptional service builds trust and reputation Integrity - You are accountable, honest, and self-aware Innovation - You look for better ways to get the job done Drive - You bring 100% effort and push through obstacles Commitment - You dedicate yourself to the mission Key Responsibilities Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and employees at the lobby desk with a professional, welcoming demeanor Operate access control systems to issue and verify credentials Deter misconduct and respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams Make periodic patrols of the lobby and surrounding areas to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and unauthorized persons Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports Utilize a computer for incident reports, security software applications, and email Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor Qualifications Two years of customer service experience One year of security experience Law enforcement experience Corrections experience Military experience Requirements Valid FL Security D License Valid FL Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Above-average written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred Compensation & Benefits $17.50 per hour Paid time off Medical insurance Dental insurance Paid holidays Pension / retirement benefits Skills-enhancing training and opportunities for career growth and promotion Marksman Security LLC Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V #J-18808-Ljbffr Marksman Security
