Step into an important role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher, working full-time from October through the end of the school year. You’ll be central to fostering growth and development among elementary and middle school students, providing individualized instruction and ensuring every learner’s unique needs are addressed. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education
• Experience teaching at the elementary and/or middle school level preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage split caseloads effectively
• Proficiency in case management, including data collection and progress monitoring
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to students across both elementary and middle school settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate data on student progress, utilizing various assessment tools
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure holistic support for students
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
• Manage caseload responsibilities, ensuring compliance with all required documentation and timelines
