divh2Clinical Supervisor/h2pOversees day-to-day clinical staff performance in the company. Responsible for sharing the rotation of on-call supervisors for all programs. Assure that the quality of clinical services is maintained through individual and group supervision./ph3Major Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliProvide one-to-one and group supervision for assigned clinicians of Inclusion Family Counseling Center, supporting and assisting in their daily duties with clients./liliAssure that performance reviews are completed annually for staff under direct supervision, including establishing specific, individual professional development goals./liliInsure that clinical records are accurate, current, and meet Medical Assistance standards and DHS licensing regulations./liliReview all reports of suspected abuse or neglect of vulnerable adults or minors and assure that appropriate actions are taken. Inform Clinical Director if reports involve alleged maltreatment by staff, students, or volunteers./liliAssure that a quality improvement program is implemented./liliReview all incident reports. Consider actions to be taken and implement changes to avoid similar incidents in the future./liliInform the Clinical Director and Executive Director in a timely manner of all relevant political, financial, clinical, and liability issues and make recommendations for any changes in procedures./liliPropose, participate in, develop and revise program policies and procedures./liliParticipate in internal and external committees and management team meetings./li/ulpOther important responsibilities of supervisors include:/pulliReviewing assessments for completeness, such as identified strengths, sensible clinical formulation, and needs that are the basis of intervention;/liliReviewing treatment plans to cross-check that the planned intervention matches the full extent of the prioritized needs;/liliMonitoring the delivery of care coordination services and assessing the need for referral to ICC;/liliEnsuring that there is ongoing communication with prescribing physicians about medication and consultation as needed with a child psychiatrist; Identifying needs for specialized therapeutic skills; Considering the addition and/or subtraction of other CBHI services;/liliGuiding the use of the CANS and other data in continuous assessment;/liliHelping clinicians to balance their clinical judgment with the stated priorities of families; Ensuring that every family meeting has a purpose, rationale, and plan to move forward; Assisting in identifying indicators pointing to transition readiness, relapse, and completion;/liliEngaging therapists in continuously learning from their experiences with families and applying their experiential knowledge to new situations;/liliAssisting IHT staff in negotiating relationships with other organizations (such as state agencies and schools) and escalating the problem-solving process when needed./liliSupervisor will carry a caseload and have 15 hours of clinical cases (combination of IHT/OP). This will be reduced as supervisory load increases./li/ulpQualification Requirements:/ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must meet the qualifications of a mental health professional, meaning a person providing clinical services in the treatment of mental illness that is qualified in at least one of the following ways:/pulliMaster Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and other related field./liliIndependently Licensed in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage Family Therapy, with a minimum of five years of experience working with families and children in the Community./liliExperience working with the CBHI program having a strong background in working with the Program and program requirements./liliExperience having supervised staff previously/liliAbility to work with numbers and to produce reports/liliAbility to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, business correspondence, and all other mental health-related documents. Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate correspondence. Capable of establishing positive interpersonal relationships with a broad range of people. Effective oral and written communication skills/liliThe ability to speak another language other than English (Capeverdean, Haitian, Spanish or Portuguese) is desired, but not required./li/ul/div
