We are looking for a dependable Mailroom Coordinator to support daily mail and document operations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is a 1-year Contract position based fully on site, offering an opportunity to contribute to a high-volume office environment with consistent workflow and hands-on responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing mail processing, document handling, and data entry with a strong service mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the scheduled distribution, collection, and routing of internal and external mail throughout the facility.

• Review incoming correspondence, research identifying details, enter required information, and prepare materials for digital imaging.

• Manage outbound mail by operating folding, inserting, and postage equipment to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.

• Enter customer or group policy information into internal records and scan supporting documents for electronic storage.

• Maintain organized document storage systems and retrieve physical files promptly when requested.

• Process undeliverable or returned mail and update records as needed to support accurate delivery information.

• Perform high-volume data entry related to document classification, indexing, and tracking.

• Support day-to-day mailroom and clerical operations while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced office setting.

• High school diploma or comparable experience in an administrative, clerical, or mailroom setting.

• Strong keyboarding, 10-key, and data entry accuracy skills.

• Careful attention to detail when handling documents, records, and mail processing tasks.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Effective communication and customer service abilities when interacting with coworkers and internal clients.

• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy on-site office environment.
