Our esteemed company is seeking to hire a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to leverage your financial expertise in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment. This role requires a strong grasp of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the financial operations of our organization, providing accurate financial data, and supporting our strategic business goals.

Responsibilities:
1. Execute month-end close procedures and deliver accurate financial reports in a timely manner.
2. Prepare and present quarterly financial reports, ensuring they comply with company policy and accounting standards.
3. Investigate and resolve unusual billing issues, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
4. Manage the consolidation process, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
5. Develop and deliver management accounting reports, providing insightful analysis of operational trends and margin analysis.
6. Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to optimize financial processes and improve financial performance.
7. Conduct financial audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and keep abreast of changes in financial legislation.
9. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Proficient in month-end close procedures, quarterly reporting, and management of the consolidation process.
4. Exceptional ability to research and resolve unusual billing issues.
5. Proven experience in preparing and analyzing management accounting reports, operational trends, and margin analysis.
6. Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial legislation.
7. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Proficient in using accounting software and other financial management tools.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data and complex financial concepts clearly.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
