What You'll Be Doing Creating an exceptional first impression for every patient, over the phone and in person Scheduling appointments to help patients while also keeping the doctor's schedule full and productive Answering phones with kindness and compassion Verifying insurance benefits and helping patients understand their coverage Presenting treatment plans Collecting patient payments and co-pays Posting insurance payments Confirming appointments and filling any gaps in the schedule Helping with: billing, accounts receivable, and insurance aging Helping the team achieve daily and monthly goals Who You Are Naturally kind and enjoy connecting with people Has a positive attitude- even during the busy moments Thrives in a fast-paced environment Highly organized Confident in making decisions and solving problems Takes ownership Coachable Love learning and has a genuine passion for dentistry and helping people Value teamwork and appreciate a team that doesn't say "That's not my job" Experience At least 3 years of dental office experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental insurance and scheduling Exceptional customer service Comfortable talking about and collecting money Knowledge of Dentrix and Dental Intelligence a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and knowledge Paid holidays and PTO Medical insurance 401k matching Employee and family dental benefits Attainable monthly and yearly bonuses Continuing education opportunities Team building opportunities A supportive, helpful, amazing team that enjoys working together Opportunities to grow your career within the practice Your Schedule You will have a four-day work week with either Mondays or Fridays off. We also work one evening shift from 12:00pm-7:30pm per week and one Saturday per month from 7:40am-1:00, breakfast provided. Sound Like You?
