Financial Reporting Manager

Job Description
We are partnering with an established financial services organization seeking a hands-on accounting professional for a broad financial reporting opportunity.
\n \nThis is a great next step for a Senior Accountant ready for manager-level responsibility , an auditor transitioning into industry, or an experienced reporting professional seeking ownership and flexibility.
\n \nWhat you’ll do:
\n- \n
- Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and supporting workpapers. \n
- Support quarterly and annual GAAP consolidations and regulatory reporting. \n
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies with business partners. \n
- Research accounting guidance and coordinate external audit requests. \n
- Improve reporting processes, documentation, and controls. \n
What we’re looking for:
\n- \n
- Approximately 5–7+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience. \n
- Strong GAAP knowledge and the ability to independently prepare and review work. \n
- Public accounting or external reporting experience. \n
- Insurance and statutory reporting experience is a plus; other industry backgrounds will be considered. \n
- CPA, progress toward certification, or CPA eligibility preferred. \n
