Job Summary:

Join a dynamic Float Pool team supporting multiple inpatient units throughout the hospital. This role provides flexible nursing coverage across various departments while delivering high-quality patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working with diverse patient populations and care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Coordinate care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Provide safe, effective care for patients with complex medical needs
• Perform IV insertion, PICC line care, tube care, port care, and tele monitoring
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge needs
• Support continuity of care and patient advocacy
• Complete point-of-care testing according to policy
• Prioritize patient care assignments and respond to changing patient conditions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Active North Carolina RN License
• ADN, ASN, or Nursing Diploma required
• BSN or MSN preferred
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• CPI Certification preferred
• Experience with Telemetry Monitoring, IV/PICC Care, Ports, and Tubes preferred
• Must be comfortable floating between inpatient units

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $33.00 – $54.45/hour
• Evening Differential: $3.30/hour
• Night Differential: $6.00/hour
• Weekend Differential: $10.00/hour
• Specialty Differential (ER, ICU, OR): $2.00/hour
• Shift differentials may be combined
• Relocation Assistance Available
