Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testscovering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established procedures.
• Examine results critically for accuracy, address discrepancies, and ensure regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Document all procedures meticulously, guide newly onboarded staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure the work environment remains orderly and safe while adhering to regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
