Medical Equipment and Systems Specialist

Altasciences seeks a Medical Equipment and Systems Specialist to manage equipment coordination, calibration, and maintenance across clinical operations in Cypress, California. The role requires ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and good practices while maintaining comprehensive documentation and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate equipment calibration and preventative maintenance per manufacturer instructions and SOPs
• Maintain calibration records and preventative maintenance calendars; provide documentation to QA for audits
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and respond to after-hours outages when necessary
• Manage equipment inventory, asset tags, and vendor relationships; evaluate new technologies
• Collaborate with department heads and finance to fulfill equipment needs and optimize service agreements

Requirements

• One year of related equipment or systems experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry manuals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
• Self-directed, motivated, and proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Personal integrity and demonstrated discretion with confidential information

Compensation: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
