Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting contract role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students during a temporary leave coverage. This engaging position runs from August 2026 through November/December 2026, offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant school community. With an average caseload of around 45 students and skilled SLPAs available on campus, you’ll have the valuable support you need as you provide comprehensive speech-language services.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA CCCs
- School-based experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of students
- Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s needs
- Supervise and consult with campus SLPAs to ensure consistency and quality of services
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, including assessments and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, staffing, and team planning sessions
This is a weekday (Monday–Friday) position, 30 hours per week, located in a welcoming and well-supported high school setting. You’ll have the opportunity to focus on direct student care, leverage established supports, and spend your contract making a difference while enjoying a manageable caseload.
