Data Entry Assistant

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and compassionate individual to assist the Development Team in the Administration Office. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, processing donations, entering information into the database, maintaining data accuracy, and operating folding and postage machines. Term of Employment This is a seasonal position from October 12, 2026, through January 8, 2027, and requires 30 hours per week. Applicants must hold to the doctrine and Constitution/Bylaws of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries, be a regular attendee of a local church, and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith (see employment application). Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Answer phone calls and greet visitors Process donor data for the Development Department. Maintain the accuracy of the donor database by adding new constituents, updating addresses, and making other necessary changes. Print and prepare materials for mailings and operate folding and postage machines. Assist in sorting and opening mail. Assist with special projects and events as needed. Knowledge/skills: A heart for service and compassion for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in our community. Ability to pass a background check. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills (including 10-key). Ability to concentrate and perform detailed tasks for extended periods of time. Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills.
