Physical Therapist - Home Health, CareResource Hawaii (Full Time, 40, Day) Starting Pay: $92,000.00to $95,000.00 annual salary The starting pay displayed above may be higher commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Effective Date: 12/23 Develops and implements a progressive rehabilitation program for patients in their homes in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and the client’s needs. Serves as case manager and supervises home health aides and physical therapist assistants when appropriate. Performs duties in accordance with policies and procedures as established by the agency. Typical Physical Demands Sitting, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking. Constant: lifting maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 20 pounds, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds of force, reaching above, at and below shoulders; repetitive arm/hand motion and frequent gripping of objects. Frequent: standing, walking, stooping/bending, and twisting body. Typical Working Conditions Subjected to adverse environmental conditions like blood borne pathogens. Minimum Qualifications Education / Certification and Licensure Current Hawaii State license as a Physical Therapist. Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. Valid U.S. driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance as required by Hawaii State Law. Driver’s abstract or evidence of good driving record. Current BLS certification. Experience Knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice to treat patients. Knowledge and use of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and the public. Ability to communicate in English effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to interpret, adopt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
