Hourly Pay Range: $35.16 - $54.50. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Sign on Bonus Available! Physical Therapist I - Rehab Services - Days/Evens Location: Schaumburg, IL Full-time: 40 hours per week Hours: Days with 2 evening shifts until 7:30pm required Required Travel: No What you will do: Provide 1:1 Care - No double booking Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to assess, treat and care for patients in assigned area. Implement assessment/treatment/care based on developmental stages of patient. Interpret verbal and nonverbal communication of patient. Evaluate patient's functional abilities/disabilities using appropriate techniques, assessment of strength, ROM, pain, sensation, balance, transfers, ambulation status, wound size and condition. Create treatment plan specifying goals and modalities to restore function, increase strength and reduce pain. Administer and instruct patients on all aspects of treatment plan, assess effectiveness and modify as necessary. Prepare and complete patient records, billing and documentation per departmental guidelines. Communicate and collaborate with physicians, nursing and other staff for optimal patient care. Involve patient, family, caregivers in care plan, including next-level-of-care planning. Conduct education sessions and provide self-directed programs considering developmental needs. Assist with supervision of paraprofessional staff, students, volunteers: delegate tasks, monitor performance. Use correct body mechanics. Follow hospital and departmental safety and infection control procedures to maintain safe environment. Assist in planning and conducting in-service programs; attend meetings, rehab conferences, educational programs. Attend mandatory in-services. Assume responsibility for own professional growth; stay current on PT developments and incorporate approved advances into treatment/ evaluation plans. Participate in departmental QA program and special assignments as requested. Adhere to all Northwest Community Hospital standards, policies and procedures. What you will need: Completion of degree in Physical Therapy from an A.P.T.A. accredited school, or equivalent. Current Illinois licensure or eligibility.
