We’re looking for a part-time, contract Therapist (Independent Contract Provider) who is passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse client base—without the hassles of administrative work, as Talkspace handles insurance billing, marketing, and administrative costs so you can focus on providing impactful care. What you'll do Treat clients remotely in your state(s) of licensure on the secure (HIPAA-compliant) Talkspace platform Conduct client sessions using video, audio, and live messaging services Respond to asynchronous client messages each week, in a timely manner Complete your required clinical documentation after each client session About you Current license to practice independently without supervision in the state of California Licenses may include: LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy Individual NPI number Comfortable learning new online tools and technology Reliable internet connection and video-capable device Clients Ready for You: Talkspace provides new client referrals Flexible Schedule: Set your own schedule with no minimum weekly hours or caseload requirements No Membership Fees: No provider fees Accept Insurance Without Hassle: Talkspace handles credentialing, billing, and claims Everything in One Place: Sessions, documentation, resources, and compensation tracking on one platform Fully Paid Training: Master the Talkspace platform before your first session Clinical Support: Provider Support and IT teams available for questions Free CEUs: NBCC and ASWB accredited continuing education credits via Talkspace Learning Communities Health Perks: Access Stride Health for health and financial well-being Compensation $90 per hour for live chat, audio, or video sessions (rate prorated for 45- and 30-minute sessions) Additional compensation for asynchronous messaging Engage in a new client bonus, varying by plan type Note: Rates may vary by state and may change over time based on market demand.
