This position allows for remote work while utilizing our outpatient office settings when needed. Our standard work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs, ensuring that our counseling services are accessible to those who require them.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments, identifying patient needs and developing tailored treatment plans to address their unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other methodologies to ensure effective treatment.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on equipping patients with coping skills and resilience strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide a comprehensive care approach that addresses the whole person.

• Assist patients in crisis situations, offering immediate support and intervention to stabilize mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, effective treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuous training focused on cultural competence and the latest therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, along with a strong commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications for documentation and scheduling.

• Adherence to professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality standards.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
