Pay: $21-$23/hr | Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Memphis, TN 38122 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high‑quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents. 

Position Details  

• Role: Certified Maintenance Technician 
• Location: Memphis, TN 38122
• Pay: $21-$23/hr 
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
• Start Date: ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Contract or Contract‑to‑Hire 

Responsibilities  

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally 
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including: 
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required) 
• Electrical repairs 
• Plumbing repairs 
• Appliance diagnostics and repair 
• Carpentry and general maintenance 
• Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation 
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities 
• Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude 
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards 

Requirements  

• EPA or HVAC certification required  
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred 
• Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions 
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently 
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented 
• Strong communication and customer service skills
