Job Title Maintenance Technician
Job Location: Mankato, MN
**Compensation: $26/hour **plus a $3/hour shift differential .
**Sign-on Bonus: $5,000, paid in two instillments: 6months and 12months **
**Schedule: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. (Monday – Friday) **
Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for minimizing downtime , supporting production operations , and ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
·
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems .
·
Diagnose equipment issues using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals .
·
Repair or replace motors, pumps, conveyors, sensors, gearboxes, and other equipment components.
·
Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance calls.
·
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
·
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations .
·
Operate industrial equipment such as **scissor lifts **and material handling equipment .
·
Follow OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures , and company safety standards.
·
Maintain a clean and organized work environment .
·
Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments.
·
Participate in **continuous improvement initiatives. **
·
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a **manufacturing or industrial setting. **
·
Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred .
·
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills .
·
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals .
·
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment .
·
Basic computer skills and experience with CMMS systems .
·
PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation experience preferred.
·
Welding and light fabrication experience is a plus.
·
Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly .
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in a manufacturing environment .
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves , and respirators when needed.
