Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and certified School Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will administer and interpret a comprehensive suite of cognitive, diagnostic, and behavioral assessments for students ranging from elementary school through college.
The ideal candidate will not only possess sharp analytical and diagnostic skills but will also have a gift for transforming complex data into understandable, actionable insights for parents and educational personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Evaluation: Administer, score, and interpret individualized, standardized cognitive, academic, diagnostic, and behavioral evaluations for students of all ages.
- Synthesis & Report Writing: Integrate assessment data with behavioral observations, developmental histories, and input from parents/educators to write highly detailed, clear, and comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Actionable Planning: Identify individual student strengths and areas for development to craft tailored, evidence-based intervention plans and accommodations.
- Consultation & Feedback: Facilitate individual meetings with parents and school personnel to relay diagnostic results in a compassionate, accessible, and professional manner, ensuring all parties understand the student's unique learning profile.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a highly related Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) field.
- Licensure/Certification: Current Missouri state licensure or certification required (e.g., Certified School Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist, LPC). Must possess specific, verifiable training and credentials to administer and interpret individualized cognitive and diagnostic assessments.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, ideally within an educational, pediatric, or private diagnostic setting.

- Clinical Insight: Deep understanding of child/adolescent development, underlying processing issues that interfere with learning, and diagnostic interviewing techniques.
- Educational Knowledge: Familiarity with classroom teaching methodologies, school-based interventions, and classroom management techniques.
- Rapport Building: Strong interpersonal skills with an innate ability to quickly establish trust and comfort with children, adolescents, anxious parents, and educators.
- Communication Excellence: Superior written communication skills for in-depth technical report writing, paired with empathetic verbal communication skills for family consultations.
- Organizational Excellence: Excellent time-management and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple evaluation timelines efficiently.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This position operates primarily within a professional office setting, utilizing standard computing and digital testing software.
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some light physical activity is required, including the ability to move testing kits or files, open filing cabinets, and stand or bend as necessary.
