Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
• Implement appropriate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and educational interventions to facilitate patient recovery.
• Regularly assess and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patients' needs, referring for additional services when required.
• Maintain accurate records of patient visits and treatment plans in compliance with departmental policies to ensure accountability and continuity of care.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding therapy goals, home exercise programs, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and coordinate services for a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, facing chronic pain, or dealing with neurological conditions. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients regain mobility, improve strength, and enhance overall functional independence, contributing to their long-term health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist is a must.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and families, as well as collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while also being a proactive team player.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation center or outpatient clinic is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and communication.
• Certification in specialized areas such as dry needling or manual therapy can be advantageous but is not required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience and caseload.
