Medical Science Liaison - Immunology - GI - Rocky Mountain (CO, UT, ID, MT, WY)

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – GI in the Rocky Mountain territory. The geography will cover Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, with the ideal candidate residing in Denver, CO. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a strategic field plan for the territory, including educational activities with opinion leaders (OLs), healthcare providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., biocoordinators) and institutions. Respond promptly to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, health care systems, academic medical centers and population health decision makers, integrating scientific data (including real‑world evidence) into practice to meet customer needs. Present data and information appropriately for varied audiences and requests. Execute proactive and reactive outreach plans approved through the legal/HCC exceptions process. Integrate scientific data into real‑life practice, adapting interpersonal style to specific individuals and teams. Anticipate responses from diverse stakeholders based on their perspectives. Prioritize franchise customer initiatives and balance them with administrative duties and project responsibilities. Leverage knowledge of standards of care, Janssen-sponsored trials, and competitor landscape to facilitate internal‑external research communication. Engage external investigators on unsolicited research inquiries, working as a liaison to R&D, Medical Affairs and operations teams. Provide clinical trial support: identify potential sites, resolve site issues, participate in site initiation and investigator launch meetings. Lead at least one scientific or strategic Immunology project, identifying educational gaps and elevating team acumen. Actively participate in team calls, trainings, and journal clubs to share scientific news and maintain current knowledge of standard of care. Attend and provide leadership at scientific conferences, congresses, advisory boards and investigator meetings. Collect, document, and share medical insights; synthesize data for the MSL team and other partners. Represent and support Johnson & Johnson at key stakeholder meetings including congresses, symposia and speaking engagements. Complete all administrative requirements efficiently and in compliance with regulations (expense reports, activity documentation). Collaborate with field partners and other Immunology MSL teams on routine basis and large‑scale projects. Maintain thorough understanding of regulatory and health‑care compliance guidelines, corporate policies, and Medical Affairs SOPs. Qualifications PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA with 2+ years relevant therapeutic area clinical experience (additional experience in clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical work preferred). Ability to support up to 75% travel, including overnight and occasional weekend commitments; valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record. Strong presentation and communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and remote technologies. Residing in the territory; Denver, CO is ideal. Experience in Rheumatology and/or Immunology is strongly preferred. The position is eligible for the Company’s long‑term incentive program.
