About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Office Leasing to spearhead the leasing strategy and execution for a prominent office portfolio. This senior leadership position is pivotal in driving occupancy and revenue, enhancing tenant relationships, and ensuring the competitive positioning of assets within the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing leasing strategies that optimize occupancy, rental performance, and long-term asset value. Key tasks include leading all leasing activities, from new transactions to renewals, and working closely with cross-functional teams to execute complex deals. The role also involves market and relationship development, as well as providing mentorship and direction to the leasing team. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree is a plus) and approximately 12 years' of commercial office leasing experience, with a strong focus on the New York City market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in negotiating large and complex office lease transactions, a deep understanding of the local market, and established relationships within the commercial real estate community. Experience in a large institutional or highly structured real estate organization is preferred. The role requires a leader with strong financial and analytical skills, executive-level communication, and the ability to influence decisions across multiple functions. The SVP will also be expected to provide business planning, and reporting, and contribute to the continuous improvement of leasing processes.
