Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, presses, mills, tooling, and facility systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.

This role is critical to minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on presses, mills, machinery, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Monitor equipment operation, oven temperatures, and hydraulic/temperature gauges.
• Repair and modify molds, mold platens, tooling, and machine components.
• Fabricate production items such as knockout boxes and plates.
• Maintain machine controls, instrumentation, and functional components.
• Order replacement parts and initiate purchase orders as needed.
• Assist with facility and physical plant maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and support continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience with presses, mills, and manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Tooling and mold repair experience highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in an industrial environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and components as needed.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring instruments.
