The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging products at customer locations. The LS represents TireHub professionally in all customer interactions, maintains safe driving practices, delivers exceptional customer service, and fosters strong customer relationships. Compensation & Schedule Starting wage of $21.20 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over the first year. Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours. Speedy – work fast to meet tight industry deadlines. Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance. Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to/from transport vehicles. Follows TireHub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing orders. Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely. Participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling for inventory control. Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery transactions. Maintains vehicles in clean, safe, and functional condition; performs daily pre/post‑trip inspections. Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly. Ensures compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures. Participates in ongoing training via in‑class, in‑person, or computer-based modules. Performs additional tasks assigned by supervisors or leadership. Collaborates to meet shared objectives. Communicates effectively with varied audiences. Requirements for this Role At least 1 year of general work experience. Valid driver’s license with minimum 2 years of driving history. Minimum age 19 years. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50lbs, with or without mechanical assistance. Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting. Multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles. Work up to 35 feet above ground level and up to 8 hours per day on a forklift. Follow traffic rules to safely drive TireHub vehicles to customer locations. Work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with manifest, GPS, and navigation systems. Maintain forklift certification. Maintain a valid driver’s license at all times. Working Conditions Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs or greater; regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance. May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, eyewear, etc.). Need normal vision requirements (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). Operate equipment in varied settings, including non‑climate‑controlled warehouses and customer locations. Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required with little or no advanced notice. Driving during night or inclement weather may be required. Physically, must not exceed 400 lbs in weight or 6 ft 3 in height to accommodate equipment and safety restraints.
