The Jr Systems Administrator is responsible for taking the first level tickets once escalated to the team. In this role it is vital in ensuring the IT infrastructure runs smoothly while building a foundation for more advanced responsibilities in the future. In this role, you'll primarily focus on setting up/decom user accounts and computers and troubleshoot basic day to day tickets with the first level of support, making a significant impact on our team.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issuesSupport operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOSManage user accounts using tools like Active DirectoryAssist with software installation, configuration, and troubleshootingProvide basic networking support (IP configuration, DNS, VPN)Configure, install, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheralsCoordinate with third-party vendors and IT teams for repairs, updates, and troubleshootingProvide timely, professional support to end usersCommunicate clearly and explain technical issues to non-technical usersMaintain accurate documentation and time entriesBuild strong relationships with clients and ensure high satisfactionHandle user concerns calmly and professionally, including de-escalationOther duties as assigned.
