Territory Manager - Houston South

Overview Tandem Diabetes Care is a global insulin delivery and diabetes technology company focused on creating new possibilities for people living with diabetes. As a Territory Manager, you will partner with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to bring our innovative insulin pump therapy to patients and providers in South Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, and Victoria. Our mission is to grow the territory, build strong relationships, and help people living with diabetes thrive. Responsibilities As a Territory Manager, your key duties include: Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans. Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.) to create value. Leverage advanced sales methodologies—including the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management—to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth. Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators. Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach. Keep your territory organized with accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences. Ensure compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care. Ability to travel up to 80% within the territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving market. Compensation & Benefits The base pay for this position is $91,890 to $112,310 annually, with a target earning potential of $166,890 to $187,310 annually. Tandem offers a competitive compensation package and a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, and flexible savings accounts. You’ll also receive 11 paid holidays per year, a minimum of 20 days of paid time off (starting in year 1), and access to a 401(k) plan with company match.
