Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population on a cardiac stepdown unit with an average daily census of 16 patients
Manage and monitor patients presenting with conditions including post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring, EKG, and Doppler studies
Assist with peritoneal dialysis as part of patient care responsibilities
Maintain accurate documentation using

Epic (Required) , Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks
Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
Required Qualifications

Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or a related acute care setting
Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems and SBAR communication
Experience caring for patients with peripheral vascular disease or peritoneal dialysis needs
