About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry – Georgia

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio; 33-bed unit with average daily census of 16; no call required

Highlights:

• Cardiac telemetry specialty unit serving adults to geriatric patient populations
• Comprehensive case mix including post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, peripheral vascular disease, and peritoneal dialysis
• Epic charting system (required experience), Pyxis medication management, SBAR communication
• Robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Advanced cardiac care experience with cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration)
• Flexible contracts with local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; charge nurse experience required
• Experience with 1:5 patient ratios
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Demonstrated competency managing cardiac drips including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin (no titration)
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, and Doppler equipment
• Willingness to float within facility as needed within scope of practice
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Full compliance required by Tuesday prior to start date to begin on time
