Regional Talent Development Manager As the Regional Talent Development Manager, you will collaborate with SW Regional Leadership, HR, and Culture & Inclusion leaders to create and execute a talent development strategy that aligns with Gensler’s overall business and people focus areas. You will oversee TD specialists, lead learning and training programs, and manage licensure, onboarding, coaching, and leadership development for the Southwest Region. Responsibilities Train and oversee the organization and execution of learning programs, including internal regional and firmwide classes, events, and external vendor presentations. Work with regional and office leadership to create and implement impactful programs in learning, professional development, executive coaching, and trainings to improve talent performance and organizational culture. Support and enhance technical trainings with various leadership communities. Provide in‑house support for new and existing team members through talent integration, onboarding, ongoing coaching, and learning opportunities. Support regional licensure champions in each office, determining best practices, building resources, and supporting licensure achievement and celebration processes. Maintain an annual learning budget and manage reimbursements, registration fees, and membership dues with the accounting team. Oversee talent development expenses using the internal Coupa platform. Maintain an effective coaching/mentoring program through the Professional Development Plan (PDP) process. Partner with HRBPs and Learning Specialists to perform talent mapping analysis to determine talent potential and development paths. Maintain strong relationships with the Global Regional Talent Development Network and Learning Coordinator network, bringing insights and recommendations to regional and office leadership. Elevate leadership on talent management practices, including talent planning, succession, and robust skills gap analysis. Qualifications Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required. Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Adult Education a plus. 8+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Training, Human Resources, HR Business Partnering, People Operations, or related field. At least 2+ years in a manager capacity and 4+ years in Learning & Development. Professional coaching experience and certification a plus. Experience facilitating and leading training for audiences of all sizes, in‑person and virtually, with a high level of executive presence. Experience with various assessments. Experience managing a budget. Results‑driven approach with strong analytical skills and experience evaluating, predicting, and measuring ROI of people programs. Ability to embed an inclusion lens in all talent management processes to advance the firm’s inclusion strategies. Strong interpersonal communication skills and flexibility. Change management experience. Strong management and coaching capabilities. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and discern top priorities. Ability to inspire and lead a team with creativity and compassion. Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities. Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships. Expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of InDesign a plus. Experience with recording and editing training content using video editing software such as Camtasia or Adobe Captivate a plus. Experience collecting and analyzing data on training program efficacy to make recommendations for improvement. Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBI, and Qualtrics a plus. Ability to travel to the six regional offices, on average two to four times a year, or as needed. In‑office presence at the Los Angeles downtown location, five times a week, with flexible hours. Compensation & Benefits Base salary estimated between $118,000 – $144,000, plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience. Reimbursement for eligible professional licenses, renewals, exam fees, and tuition for certain programs or classes.
