Details ICU setting within a hospital environment Patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, sepsis, COVID-19, DKA, CHF, COPD, and renal failure Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed Local candidates are accepted Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a full year before returning as a traveler No schedule change requests or alternate shift requests are permitted; the posted night shift is firm American Traveler Job ID #P-724917L.
