Quality Assurance Test Lead

Role: Sr/Lead QA Tester with Child Welfare/ Child Support Location: Remote/ Occasional Travel Duration: Full-time with Apexon Role Summary Senior testing consultant responsible for supporting UAT and test automation activities for a large-scale State government technology program. The resource will work closely with State stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure effective test planning, test design, execution, automation, defect management, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead and support UAT planning, test execution, defect management, and testing status/reporting activities. Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Selenium and appropriate automation frameworks. Analyze test results, identify issues and risks, support defect resolution and retesting, and provide recommendations to improve testing effectiveness. Collaborate with State business users, project teams, and vendors to coordinate testing activities and resolve testing-related issues. Provide senior-level testing expertise and consulting guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications / Experience 10+ years of experience in software testing, QA, UAT, test automation, or related disciplines. Demonstrated consulting experience supporting complex enterprise and/or government technology programs. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and test automation, with proficiency in one or more relevant programming/scripting languages. Experience with test management, defect tracking, regression testing, and modern software delivery methodologies. Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently in a complex project environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apexon
