Lab Engineer, Amazon Prime Air

The Lab Engineer will be responsible for the hands-on maintenance, operation, and continuous improvement of test infrastructure that supports Amazon Prime Air's drone development and production programs.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems, manage lab organization and safety compliance, and collaborate across hardware, software, and production teams to keep test infrastructure running at high availability.Key job responsibilitiesThe Lab Engineer maintains and troubleshoots electromechanical test infrastructure ensuring high availability for engineering and production teams. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, building and wiring new test rigs, and resolving hardware issues as first-line technical support. The role also supports lab infrastructure (network cabling, power distribution, rack organization), coordinates procurement of equipment and consumables, and maintains documentation such as SOPs and wiring diagrams. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
