Take on a full-time schedule of 30 hours each week, working closely with occupational therapists, educators, and families to help students access their education and meet their potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and implementation
• Strong communication skills with both children and adults
• Ability to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Organizational skills for managing caseload and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in providing direct and consultative services within the school environment
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory integration, self-care, and adaptive skills
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation for student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed and implement individualized plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
• Adapt equipment, activities, and learning materials according to student needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all students can succeed
