Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Attorney (JN -062026-425178) Austin, Texas Salary: USD200000 - USD375000 per year + Bonus Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Associate A leading global law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join its highly regarded Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice Group in Austin, Texas. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team advising public and private companies, executives, boards of directors, and investors on a broad range of executive compensation and employee benefits matters. The successful candidate will gain exposure to sophisticated transactional, compliance, and governance work while collaborating with attorneys across multiple offices. Responsibilities Advise clients on executive compensation arrangements, including employment agreements, severance agreements, change-in-control agreements, and retention arrangements. Assist with the design, implementation, and administration of equity compensation plans and incentive compensation programs. Counsel clients on compensatory partnership interests and related compensation structures. Support ESOP transactions and ongoing ESOP compliance matters. Provide guidance on employee benefits issues arising in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Conduct legal research, draft agreements and plan documents, and assist with regulatory compliance matters. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record. 2-4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Executive compensation Equity incentive plans Executive employment arrangements Compensatory partnership interests ESOP transactions Employee benefits Exceptional analytical, drafting, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. Interest in developing a long-term career within a collaborative, nationally recognized practice. Bar Requirements Texas Bar membership preferred. Candidates not currently admitted in Texas must obtain Texas Bar admission within one year of commencing employment.
