Overview Registered Nurse, Med Surg Location: Lodi, California, United States Start date: August 1, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $1,376–$1,486 per week Guaranteed hours: 48 Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Med Surg RN responding to patient care needs in a general medical-surgical unit. Responsibilities

• Deliver direct bedside nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients, including assessment, monitoring, and timely response to clinical changes
• Administer prescribed medications, perform IV therapy, and manage patient comfort and safety
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and expected discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Uphold standards of infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance in daily practice

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment (California)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg or equivalent acute care experience
• Ability to work nights and fulfill the guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Comfortable practicing in a Short Term Acute Care setting and adhering to professional standards
