OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Jamaica, NY by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Based in Jamaica, NY, transport hazardous freight coast to coast under HMD’s national OTR network.
We back our drivers with consistent miles, modern equipment, and predictable home time every two weeks.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate under HAZMAT regulations to ensure safe deliveries
- Adhere to DOT and company compliance standards
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections with accurate logging
