Job Details Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry RN Location: Kansas City, Missouri 64132 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010 Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Shifts per Week: 3 Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Setting: PCU / Stroke & Brain Care Unit Size: 16 beds Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of recent PCU , telemetry , or stroke nursing experience ACLS , BLS , and NIHSS certifications required Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry rhythms, and stroke patient care Comfort caring for patients with cardiac drips Ability to float to areas where competency has been demonstrated Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide high-quality progressive care nursing to PCU patients with a focus on telemetry and neuro/stroke needs Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer and manage cardiac drips as ordered Perform frequent assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes Use strong clinical judgment to prioritize care in a fast-paced acute care environment Support unit flow and adapt to floating assignments within demonstrated competency Apply now to explore this travel RN job in Kansas City, Missouri and join a healthcare team that values experience, teamwork, and quality patient care.
