Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will Do:In this highly visible role, the Manager, Manufacturing Operations will drive industrial rate readiness throughout the Value Stream for the Military Engines development programs. This person will also have the unique opportunity to partner with the research and development team.The Manager, Manufacturing Operations is responsible for working with the program to drive the delivery, quality, and cost goals, while also focusing on identifying and mitigating risk in the short to long term.Delivery assurance, supply chain sourcing and mitigation, operation assessments, ensuring timely transitions execution, with creation and completion of industrial plansManage critical engineering changes to keep program commitment dates; development also encompasses new product introductionSupport all program activities with the coordination and maintenance of the program industrial plan along with CIPTs, Module Centers, Partner Companies and Global Supply ChainMonitor part improvements through a series of Key Process Indicators and standard delivery metricsSupport testing operations and work closely in vendor/partner relationships. Work closely with subject matter design and manufacturing engineering to help problem solve and mitigate risksUp to 25% regional, domestic travelMust be able to obtain a secret security clearance, as Military Engines development programs are classified in natureQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management or similar industrial environment; OR Master's Degree with 5 years of related experienceSAP/MRP experienceThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:Prior experience balancing and resolving conflicting priorities in a fluctuating environmentUnderstands strategic and business implications and works to provide the best business solution; validated experience working with executive level managementMaster's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace EngineeringWhat is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
