Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Location

San Francisco, CA | Ambulatory / Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care in a Phase I PACU setting, monitoring and managing patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Deliver Phase II recovery care and pre/post-procedural patient management
• Perform Cath Lab recovery duties as a core component of the role
• Participate in circulating and scrubbing responsibilities as required
• Float to other facility departments or units within the health system as needed based on operational demands

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Cath Lab recovery experience required
• Phase I PACU and Phase II recovery experience required
• Prior travel assignment within the last 12 months required
• Must be available to float to different departments, units, or facilities within the health system as operationally needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ambulatory or outpatient clinical experience
• Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment
